One Car Challenge 3D Rendering Competition

This is my WIP post for the rendering challenge from 3DModels.org.

Model is downloaded and I have assigned very basic materials. Modelling is in Modo 17.1 rendered with Octane 2025.

I’ve modelled a bit more detail into elements of the interior that may be visible from outside and started building some more detailed materials.

Fixed the modelling on the headlight and indicator glass as the inner and outer surfaces were two separate meshes. Optimised some more geometry. Created a glass with absorption and dispersion

New metallioc warpaint, multi-layered diffuse, flake and clearcoat with orange peel. I am undecided whether I prefer the initial simple flat paint colour. Will research what was period correct.
